All,

The start time for the regular drop-in will change from 9 am to 8 am beginning May 19th (the ladders will go to 7 am)

In addition, we are going to try something a little different over the summer.  Given the slow down of usage of courts over the summer, the popularity of the skill level drop-in, and the time restrictions due to temperatures in the afternoon, we are going to try to accommodate both the regular drop-in and the skill level drop-in at the same time.  As such, we will be using courts 9 and 10 for the skill level drop-in and courts 1-8 and 11-12 for the regular drop-in during the week from 8 am to 10 am beginning May 19th.  The skill level drop-in will be the same days as they are now.   This does not mean that as an 'A' player for example, that you are restricted to courts 9 and 10 on Wednesday; it just means that those courts are reserved for 'A' skill level players on Wednesday.   We do not need an extra monitor for this, the regular monitor will be quite sufficient.  If there are not enough skill level players for any given day to use both courts 9 and 10, the monitor may release one or both of those courts back to the regular drop-in.  We will have a sign indicating the status of those courts, so it will be obvious.  On the weekend, the regular drop-in will have all 12 courts.

I think this is worth a try over the summer.  If it doesn't work, we can always make some adjustments or try something else.
