The May membership meeting is scheduled for May 13 in the Aqua Fria Room (Cimarron).  There will be USAPA Rules books available for purchase and a sign up sheet for CPR/AED training at the meeting (see the information below).  The agenda for the meeting is below also.  See you there. 

 

The USAPA Rules Committee and the Board of Directors have completed a 2-year review and revision of the rules. A new rulebook has been published with all rule changes through May 1, 2008. The rulebook will available for sale at the club meeting May 13th for $5.00. Each rulebook includes a static-cling pickleball window sticker for your car or golf cart as show on this page:  http://usapa.org/officialrules/rulebook.php (disregard the price on that page which includes shipping).

Ching Valde, in her capacity as Safety Chairperson, is putting together a class for CPR/AED training.  There will be a sign up sheet at the membership meeting.  We are looking to fill a class of 15 initially.  Since it is a benefit to the club to have members who are CPR/AED qualified, the club will reimburse the expense for those 15 upon successful completion of the course.
